How does Lepinguluup work?

Lepinguluup turns a long contract into a structured overview. The tool's aim is not to make a legal decision for you, but to help you find the important terms and word your next questions.

1. Prepare the document

   Use as complete and readable a contract as possible. If the contract refers to annexes, a job description or a pay procedure, add those too. You may remove personal data not needed for the review. Supported files: PDF, DOCX, DOC and TXT; the maximum file size is 5 MB.

2. Upload the document

   The document is transmitted for analysis in line with Lepinguluup's privacy and security terms. The file is processed in memory and its text is not saved to disk, to a database or to logs. A fuller description of retention and service providers is in the privacy notice.

3. Lepinguluup produces a preliminary overview

   The tool finds the important parts of the document and compares the wording with Lepinguluup's active review criteria. Each observation also shows the contract extract it is based on.

4. You review the observations

   The report does not decide for you. Read the original contract text, compare the result with what you agreed with the employer, and ask for clarification where something is unclear.

5. Ask a specialist if needed

   If a question affects ending the employment, a large financial obligation, your next job or a dispute that has already arisen, use the report to prepare for a conversation with a lawyer.

What an automated review does not see

• oral agreements;
• documents that were not uploaded;
• the employer's actual day-to-day practice;
• all of your personal or cross-border circumstances;
• how a possible dispute would ultimately be resolved.
